The Corner - Wolves in Sheeps Clothing
Here we are in the desert night; another day has come and gone for us here. One day closer to closure both for the country and for us. I can tell you the Marines are all ready to get home to their loved ones, but we have not lost sight of the mission for the mission is more than about us it is about a peoples future. That kid I hand a beanie baby, his future. I would want my kids to have a future in a free place with no threats or worries, wouldn’t we all? So as a Marine that is what I have been tasked to do; tasked to defend freedom and to stop those that would take its preciousness away. I see nothing before me but a child. I am in no country or race or religion I am but on a plain, a plain to protect that child and give it safety from the wolves that roam the streets. The wolves that would eat a child just as they would eat an adult with no thought. They would ravage the very innocence, like rabid animals, to make a headline. These wolves work for no God as no God would sanction these behaviors. In contrast we work for God, all of them, for we are a conglomeration of religions sent out to squash the evil that lurks in man that would drive them to kill even children. We are a band of brothers that care not that we are Baptist, Catholic, Jewish, Buddhist or Muslim for we are them all and this all makes us what we are. We will travel the world, as one, for we will not allow darkness to take any child. We do this task for we have been chosen to do this task. Those that have never had the calling to join will never understand what it is that we carry on our shoulders. Some of you think you do, but believe me, you never will. For any vet can look in the eyes of another and see it, no words need be spoken. You will never see it, no matter how hard you try, as you have not been called to carry the flame in your eyes or your heart. Those of us that carry the shield and the sword have sworn to keep the wolves at bay, not to any man, but to the child, for the child will grow long after we are gone. Some of you may not see the wolf, as he wears sheep’s clothing, but those of us that have been chosen, we see them.
The Daily Corner
Well its has become tomorrow again as I sit here typing so I will call it a night. Actually it became tomorrow a couple of hours ago. We have another busy day in a little while. They Marines are doing great. We put up our Mass supports Americantology banner today and I will get pictures out later today along with a few other surprises that have arrived. It keeps the Marines going I tell you. When they walk by the banners, flags, and cards it tells the Marines that you are here right beside us. The faces light up and the grins come out. They may be dirty and tired but it goes away when they see your motto all over our building, all over our America. I know I am behind in pictures but I am getting them out. I will get you more pictures of the motto so you can share in it with us. Keep the faith and believe in us, because we believe in you and we believe in America.

The Supply Corner:
Laundry Detergent!!! Powder
Flavor Ice or similar popsicles. Somebody sent some and they were a big hit after the hot patrols. We have a freezer here where we can freeze them.
Tuna fish / chicken – Pouches, cans, and flavors. Can’t keep it in the house.
Easy Mac, Pop Tarts
Little Debbies – Can’t keep them in the house
Microwave Mini Cans of Soup, spaghetti, chili, Microwave bowls like Betty Crocker bowls, Microwaveable rice.
Air Freshers – We are winning the battle of the smells.
Boot insoles – Seem to be good as we got in 6 cases or so at least.
DVD’s now that we have received DVD players from home!
Hold off on all Hygiene gear . I would say hold off for a month or until I start asking again.
NO WIPES, Q-Tips, Tooth Brushes, Tooth paste, SOAP, foot powder, Chap Stick for a while.
No more MOUTH WASH!
No more coffee, filters or creamers needed. Thanks
