Alright I gave you a bunch of reading home work last night with all of those links throughout so you better have read them. There will be a quiz at the end of this deployment. Hey just hit midnight so another day is down and another has started. You better have read the story under H&S about the Battalion Commander as that was one of if not the best I have read yet. He is the one leading your Marines at the top of the 1/25 hill. That speaks volumes of the type of man our Battalion Commander is. He would never say anything, as the story had to come from NY for even us to find out about it.
The promises of Fallujah. I read this locally but can not get the link to it yet.
1. Clean water in 80% of homes by this fall.
2. By Summers end a planned wireless network will provide phone service and internet to thousands. A technological leap. Could activate 15,000 phone lines in the city. New modern handsets will then be handed out to families that once had phone lines.
3. By the end of the year the city will see the turnaround. After all these years of planning that is when it is going to pay of in their eyes.
4. Awaiting completion of a multi-million dollar water treatment project.
5. 192 million has been allocated to more than 100 complete or ongoing projects in the Fallujah area.
6. The problem is you don’t see progress until they’re complete.
7. More than 30 million has been spent on the city’s electrical grid.
8. Another 30 million proposed to improve the distribution system.9. Three new clinics were recently completed.
10. Four new schools that can hold about 1,500 children are due to open this fall.

Marriage tip of the day (For Men Only)
I just got a good suggesting, indirectly, from a friend. Buy your wife a hairdo appointment or send her to a Spa. Even set the appointment time up for her so she can be totally pampered with nothing to do but show up. Make sure you set her appointment starting for lets say 1300 (1 pm) on Sunday and make sure to tell them to take their time. That should carry you through about a game and a half.

Nothing Katie hates more than rumors started back there! So Kevlar Katie will stop many of them now.
No the ball is not stag! Like my wife is going to loose me for a year, get me home finally, and let me run off to work and drink beer the first week back!
Yes there will be alcohol at the ball. I’m sure my wife won’t mind driving one night after I have been gone almost a year.
We will not be home on the latest date some of you have stated unless
1. You own a helicopter to come get us.
2. You move to Iraq and buy a house in Fallujah.
3. The next Iraq elections I get elected president and I fly my family over to join me.

FOX NEWS TV (from New York) is coming this Saturday to film us at our Rocky Hill Center packing boxes. This is an opportunity for us to help our troops and get more people involved! We have a TON of donations coming from CHARLIE COMPANY as well and few people signed up to help me.
BOTTOM LINE: I need help!! I need people to sign up with me via email!
Please spread the word! I'd like it to be hopping when they start filming!! This is so important for our nation to see a lot of people helping the troops and that they can EASILY help, too!
