27 Oct 06 - Homecoming

The Corner
Homecoming was over whelming for all the Marines and Sailors to say the least. Never in my 22 years as a Marine have I seen anything of that magnitude. We had escorts of every police vehicle from the Massachusetts state police to police officers from every township in Connecticut on the way to Hartford. The signs and riders escorting us went on for miles. With that I will be paying my respects by writing a proper Fallujah Courant article which will be printed in the Nov 6th edition of the Hartford Courant. I do not want to miss any of the details of what happened or what it meant to the Marines, Sailors, or myself. I hope for it to be my best work yet as it was definitely the best support yet by everyone. With that I'm off to put my sons to bed as they need my attention now.
